KID’S KRAV MAGA SELF-DEFENCE:

Family Safety seminarIn our kid’s Krav Maga self-defence programme we aim to teach children self-defence techniques suited to their respective age, physical and mental abilities.

We aim to teach and help out with the following:

  • Improved self-esteem and self-confidence
  • Values such as respect and discipline
  • Appropriate group behaviour
  • Communication and listening skills
  • Assertiveness and determination
  • Safety awareness and danger recognition
  • Personal boundaries
  • Lures of a sexual predator/kidnapper
  • Body sovereignty
  • De-escalation techniques

All this is achieved within a fun atmosphere while they learn the skills they need to help protect themselves if the need arises.

Children are supported throughout their learning and are encouraged to excel and succeed.

A coloured patch system is adopted to identify the different grades within the system. At the end of each term the children are invited to sit a grading to test the skills they have learnt after which they earn a rank patch and certificate.

Age Groups:

Children are trained in small groups of similar age usually depending on the year they are currently attending in school.

We accept children from 5 years to 14 years.

Grades:

From 5 years to 10 years children train for a minimum three to four months at each level before sitting a test to pass that level in order to progress further.
